  • Simply use your customer id and password to access your bank account via net banking.
  • Select the ‘Aadhaar Seeding’ option.
  • Fill in the required aadhaar information and submit.
  • Following verification, you will receive notification that your Aadhaar number has been successfully linked to your bank account.

Linking Bank Account with Aadhaar through the Bank’s Mobile App

Almost all banks offer this service; account holders simply need to download their bank’s mobile application.

  • Log in to your bank’s mobile app.
  • Under ‘Service Request,’ select the option to view your Aadhaar details.
  • Fill in the requested aadhaar details carefully and submit.
  • Following verification, you will receive notification that your Aadhaar number has been successfully linked to your bank account.

Linking Bank Account with Aadhaar through SMS

An account holder can also link their aadhaar card via SMS, but this is usually a feature that the account holder must initiate by texting a specific number provided by the bank.

UID aadhaar number account number is the most common format.

You will receive notification that your service request has been initiated once you text in this format.

Your account is automatically linked once the bank verifies the details with UIDAI.
